Jennifer loved Blessed Joy the bulldozer and what a blessing it was to be on Ride Horse back. The rider, Debi, a friend Mary's, hurt her ankle on the dismount and we returned to the barn immediately. Mary took the horse directly to the to cool its stings, and walked it until it was calm again. It was perfect vacation and a great adventure. We stopped bragging about it yet to anyone within earshot! This is a quality - all other horse riding places work off the volume principle - not us. If you are but athletic OR previously experienced, you will be amazed at how skilled and confident you will become after this ride.

Mary rides the lead horse, and never takes more four riders with her. I thought them a motley looking crew, perhaps the lucky survivors of some recent medieval war battle, what with fly masks and all. When I saw the herd wandering the expansive, wild looking pasture behind the barn, each horse was wearing a fly mask. We not have any signs saying who we are. You will the camp and the barn and probably the horses.

Mary told me she is a self-taught rider, who riding just ten years ago, and expects to be riding until she is 90. If you are on a modem page will take years to load! The CABIN has one bedroom with a queen bed, a sofa bed on the porch and a really long couch. AHR is such a beautiful and quiet part of the country. Mary is the heart and soul of Horse Riding.
